It seems like Mouni Roy is in the seventh heaven these days. Her good luck keeps on shining in tinsel town. Everyone knows that the TV’s favourite Naagin is playing a crucial role in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which also includes an influential star cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt. Apart from this, Mouni is going to make her debut in tinsel town with Reema Kagti’s “Gold” opposite Akshay Kumar. Interestingly, Gold is releasing this Independence Day, 2018, and Brahmastra will be hitting the theatres on Independence of 2019.
However, the latest news about Mouni’s Bollywood spree is that she will be seen in Dabangg 3, which is powered by Bollywood’s blockbuster machine Salman Khan. Dabangg 3 is going to be directed by Prabhudeva.
Mouni’s role in Dabangg 3 is going to be special as she will be shown as one of the love interest of Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman Khan. Rumour mills were in constant process of churning out the news that Mouni will be replacing Sonakshi in the movie. Some other reports were also suggesting that Mouni will be playing a special cameo of hardly 20 minutes in the movie. However, Sonakshi’s fans don’t need to panic as the fact is that Sonakshi will be portraying her character of Rajjo as usual. Talking about Mouni, she will be seen as the other love interest of Salman in the movie. There is another twist here though; Mouni’s role will be shown in flashback. There will be no relation or conflict of her character with that of Sonakshi, who is playing Rajjo. It means the earlier rumours suggesting Mouni playing the negative character is also not true.
Dabangg 3 is one of the most anticipated movies of 2018. It was earlier heard that the movie will be clashing with Shahrukh Khan’s Zero this Christmas. However, the latest report suggests that Dabangg 3 release date has been fixed to 9th December, 2018 to avoid clash with Shahrukh’s Zero. Salman is expected to start shooting for the movie soon after finishing the second season of Dus ka Dum.
