Bollywood’s first superstar late Rajesh Khanna’s 1971 hit Haathi Mere Saathi is up for a refreshing release. Bahubali fame Rana Daggubati will be seen in lead role of the popular remake. Rana brings Diwali earlier in New Year itself by releasing the first poster of Haathi Mere Saathi. The poster looks deep and creative. Haathi Mere Saathi remake will release in 2018 Diwali. It will be a Trinity Pictures film of Eros International. The movie is all set to go on floor this January, and will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. . Undoubtedly, this is going to be the perfect tribute for our beloved Kakaji.
Rana looks tough and macho as usual in the poster. Interestingly, the movie will be having some sequences inspired by real life events. Filming will be mostly in Thailand, though there are some other Indian locations as well in the schedule. Prabhu Solomon is the director of the movie.
