This might be the era of DJs and Dhinchak Poojas, but some quality songs are also there. In fact, songs or the album quality is something that Bollywood has been maintaining qualitatively. In concurrence with ground shattering party songs, the musicians in tinsel town are delivering some good numbers as well. These are the numbers someone would prefer to watch without video as well. If you are looking for the classic songs from contemporary times, which bring peace for the soul, something the songs are supposed to be classically, this compilation is for you.
Kho Dia Hai:
You are looking for another reason to be a fan of Sachin-Jigar, go for this. A truly masterpiece and treat for the soul, this song has been sung by Sachin Sanghvi and obviously composed by the duo (Sachin-Jigar). The director duo often doesn’t sing for their songs, but when they do, they make sure the listener is going to melt.
Moh Moh Ke Dhaage:
This one from the movie Dum Lagake Haisha is loved even by those “jinko bass pasand hai”. Needless is to say that Monali Thakur has bagged IIFA Awards for best playback singer (female). Well, Papon certainly hasn’t given the due credit. I personally would give Papon greater score than Monali for the song; though both are equally good.
Kaun Tujhe from super hit MS Dhoni biopic is currently the favourite romantic number for many. It is here to mention that Palak Muchhal has bagged in Screen Award for Best Female Playback singer category. Not just in terms of composition, the song is commendable from lyrics point of views as well. Lyrics of the song has been penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Phir Le Aya:
Phir Le Aya from the movie Barfi is one of the many superb songs by sung by Arijit Singh; though it’s not among the most hyped numbers by him. But, a true classical song lover would definitely rank it to the same level. Though the song is known as an Arijit Singh song, but Rekha Bhardwaj ( Visha Bhardwaj’s spouse) has done an absolutely endearing job. Female version of Phir Le Aya in the movie can melt anyone. In fact, female version lyric of Phir Le Aya is also quite intriguing.
Roke Na Ruke:
Roke Na Ruke from the movie Badrinath Ki Dulhania is too romantic to handle. Arjit Singh has sung the male version. He bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer in 2017 for the song. However, female version of Roke Na Ruke Naina has been sung by many budding singers, and all equally soulful as well.
