Nawazuddin Siddique as Bal Thackeray:

That’s a irony, and the truth. Shiv Sena, which holds the negative image of going violent against the migrants, especially from UP and Bihar, will be glorified by an actors, who was once targeted by the same party in his village for taking part in Ramleela. Anyway, the teaser of this upcoming movie was released in December last year. Interestingly, Nawaz had shared the teaser on twitter referring Bal Thackeray as the ‘Real king’ of the country. The movie is written by MP Sanjay Raut. It will be made in Hindi, Marathi, and English as well. Directed by Abhijit Panse, the film is going to hit theaters on January 23, 2019, a few months prior upcoming general election 2019.

Paresh Rawal in Modi Biopic:

Directed by Mitesh Patel, the movie is all set to go on floors this March. It is another movie that can influence the upcoming general election 2019. The film is going to be made at a whooping budget of 40 crore. Making things interesting, Paresh has made it clear that Gujarat riot incidence is going to be included in it. It is being penned by Mihir Bhuta and Kishore Makwana. Renowned actor Paresh Rawal is going to portray the central character of Modi.

Vidya Balan in Indira Gandhi Biopic:

Based on the book ‘Indira: The most powerful prime minister’ by Sagarika Ghose, this film to star Vidya Balan in and as Indira Gandhi. However, it is not sure whether the movie will be a usual feature film or a web series. Anyway, it’s confirmed that Vidya will be in lead and the movie will be produced by Vidya’s husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor.

Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh in “The Accidental Prime Minister”

Written by Hansal Mehta, the movie is going to star Anupam Kher in lead portraying Manmohan Singh. Latest update about the movie is that Suzanne Bernert has been roped in for playing Sonia Gandhi’s character. The movie is going to release on 21st December, 2018. It is being directed by Vijay Gutte. Needless is to say that this one too is being made keeping upcoming general election 2019 in sight.

Naseeruddin Shah as Lal Bahadur Shastri in “Tashkent”

‘Tashkent’ is another much fussed political movies, going to be directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The movie is primarily going to focus on suspicious death of Lalbahadur Shastri.
